Our agency knows the value of community, and we strive to help our families connect! We have support groups for adoptive families to guide you throughout this journey.

Love4Life
Love4Life is Flourish Adoption Ministries' newest support program, created out of a need for extended care for our adoptees and their families. This program will offer free, lifetime mental health counseling to each adoptee placed through our agency. With our oldest-placed adoptees entering their early elementary school years, we've seen the need arise to support these children as they begin to unpack and understand their story. We believe Love4Life will give our adoptees the mental health tools and resources they need to value themselves and develop a healthy sense of identity.
Adoptive Family Support Group
Our agency knows the value of community, and we strive to help our families connect with each other! Our largest support group is our Facebook group, which includes both current and active families and families that have previously received placement through our agency. This group provides empathetic community and post-adoption support, answers to commonly asked questions, advice for the journey, etc. This page also includes live agency Q&As as an additional touchpoint.
Throughout each year, our agency also works to create opportunities for virtual and in-person support groups for adoptive families. As counselors/coaches offer availability and funding is secured, information on these flex opportunities will be provided.
Disrupted Adoption Fund
A disrupted adoption refers to a situation where an adoption plan is interrupted or ended before the adoption is finalized. Along with significant emotional strain, a disrupted adoption often means financial loss as the adoptive family may have already paid for legal fees, birth mother expenses, etc. In order to provide support for adoptive families, we've created this fund so we can step in and mediate the financial loss they may face due to a disruption. However, please note that funding is not guaranteed and will be allocated by the agency on a situational basis.
